A Belated Birthday Gift
In early August, Jen gave Jeremy a belated birthday present. We were both extremely excited and decided that it would be impossible to wait until after the first trimester to spill the beans. We have really great self-control. So we started telling people the day the stick turned blue (which was about five weeks into the pregnancy). Jen's "morning sickness" turned into 24-hour sickness and got so bad that she involuntarily took off two weeks from work. After that, she ran out of vacation days and so, together with Jeremy, decided it was best she left Wells Fargo. Fortunately, the misery ended towards the fifth month. For those of you who don't want to bother clicking on the xanga link, our baby is a boy and is officially due on April 23, 2005. He will be a chicken... errr... rooster, just like his daddy.
